In the former monastery complex, in addition to artifacts from the monastery’s past, we present the archaeology of the region, an exquisite collection of antiquities, Schaffhausen’s urban and economic history, an important art collection including works by Lucas Cranach the Elder, Ferdinand Hodler, Félix Vallotton, Otto Dix, and Adolf Dietrich, as well as a natural history collection, all under one roof.
